Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Identify potential industrial and commercial clients for captive, group-captive or rooftop solar projects. Travel to meet prospects, conduct presentations, and establish trust-based relationships. Maintain consistent follow-ups and support clients through the decision-making process. Proposal Development Collaborate with internal teams to prepare custom proposals, including ROI/savings analysis and basic financial metrics. Deliver professionally presented solutions that align with client needs. Sales Conversion Clearly explain the benefits of solar solutions and the financial/commercial advantages. Address client concerns and work towards deal closure through value-driven discussions. Coordinate on documentation, agreements, and onboarding once deals are closed. Market Awareness Stay informed about industry developments and competitors. Report on client feedback and help improve sales approaches and strategies. Role Overview We are looking for a CAD Designer to support our solar project design team in preparing site layout drawings using FMB (Field Measurement Book) data, site maps, and panel specifications. The designer will be responsible for creating accurate and optimized solar module placement layouts for ground-mounted projects. Key Responsibilities Use/Prepare FMB documents based on Survey numbers/Digital Maps available from Tamilnadu Registration Department, create land maps, and survey data to prepare detailed AutoCAD layout drawings. Design efficient solar module placement plans considering module size, row spacing, and site shape. Assist in overall layout planning, including access paths. Coordinate with project engineers to update and revise designs as per site conditions or technical inputs. Ensure layout drawings meet technical accuracy and compliance standards. Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D layout design). Ability to work with FMB sketches and land survey maps to create industrial park layouts. Understanding of solar PV layout principles and module dimensioning. Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst, SketchUp, Helioscope).
