Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Mumbai.

We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual to support senior team members in the front-end role of Business Development within our Merchant Banking division.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively source opportunities in equity capital markets, including Public Issues on Main Board, SME IPOs, Open Offers, Delisting's, and other fundraising or advisory assignments.
  2. Generate leads through cold calling, market research, and professional networking.
  3. Schedule and coordinate meetings with promoters, CFOs, and other senior stakeholders. Open to travel.
  4. Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and financial presentations to prospective clients.
  5. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in deal origination, sales, business development, client acquisition, or client-facing roles are encouraged to apply (experience in financial services is an added advantage).
  6. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in Merchant Banking, particularly in deal sourcing and client engagement.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.

Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills, capable of articulating service offerings effectively and closing deals.

  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, pitch books, research reports, and other client-facing documents.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Confidence and maturity to engage with senior executives, including CFOs and promoters.


Education Qualification

  • 0-3 year
  • Candidates only from following stream should apply: B.COM/ BFM/ BAF/ BBI/ BBA/ BMS/ MBA/ CA/ CS/ CFA
