Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive (Field) to drive B2B client acquisition and project opportunities in ELV, Fire, and MEP domains. The role is client-facing and field-oriented, focused on relationship building, opportunity identification, and coordination with internal design and project teams. This is not retail or hard sales—it is consultative, solution-driven business development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in data centres, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, PMC teams, developers, architects, and end clients.
  • Conduct field visits, site meetings, and client presentations to understand project requirements.
  • Generate and follow up on leads, enquiries, and RFQs/RFPs.

Pre-Sales & Coordination

  • Coordinate with design, estimation, and project teams for technical inputs, BOQs, and proposals.
  • Support preparation of technical-commercial proposals, clarifications, and negotiations.
  • Track opportunities through the sales pipeline until order closure.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, leads, and follow-ups.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Diploma / BE / BTech in Engineering or relevant technical background preferred.
  • 2–6 years of B2B field sales / business development experience in:
  • ELV systems
  • Fire Alarm / Fire Fighting systems
  • MEP / Building services
  • Experience in data centre or large infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.

Technical & Commercial Understanding

  • Working knowledge of:
  • ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, PAS, IBMS/BMS)
  • Fire Detection & Fire Fighting systems
  • Ability to understand drawings, BOQs, and technical scope at a high level.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes, consultants, and EPC environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident in field interactions and client negotiations.
  • Organized, persistent, and target-oriented.
  • Comfortable with high ownership and accountability.
