Job Description

You will be responsible for developing market and business strategies, generating revenue, and commercializing waste-derived products for a company focusing on sustainable menstrual waste management. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Identify and assess innovative business models for monetizing recycled plastic and cellulose from sanitary waste. - Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to inform go-to-market and pricing strategies. - Develop commercial models, pricing structures, and scalable sales strategies for waste-derived products. - Build and maintain revenue pipelines through both B2B distribution channels. - Establish and manage partnerships with buyers, manufacturers, waste-to-value companies, and sustainability-driven organizations. - Engage with distributors, retail networks, and bulk buyers to build a reliable sales and distribution network. - Work closely with R&D, Operations, and Marketing teams to bring waste-derived products to market. - Coordinate trials, certifications, and pilot projects to ensure product-market fit. - Take full ownership of launching and scaling the waste-to-value business vertical. - Manage all aspects from strategy to sales to operations, driving profitability and brand positioning. - Build the market presence and positioning of waste-derived products in offline and online channels. - Lead the creation of on-ground sales channels, distribution partnerships, and retail alliances. - Manage brand building, customer education, and sustainability communication initiatives. - Set up systems for data management, sales performance tracking, impact measurement, and operational reporting. Qualifications required for this role include: - 2-3 years of experience in business development, market strategy, sales, or sustainability-focused product commercialization. - Strong analytical, commercial, and entrepreneurial skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment. - Passion for sustainability, circular economy, and social impact business models. - Prior experience in waste management, recycled products, or circular supply chains is a strong plus. The company is based in Pune, Maharashtra, and the work location is in person.
