Business Development Executive (BDE)

The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in handling project documentation, approvals, consultant coordination, and client communication. This role blends technical knowledge with business development and project facilitation responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and clients to follow up on drawings, approvals, and project documentation. Manage and track progress of submissions for approvals (municipal, structural, fire, etc.). Follow up on leads and participate in business development discussions when required. Maintain project tracking sheets, update clients on key milestones, and support senior engineers with data and documentation. Liaise with design and site teams to ensure smooth flow of technical information. Support pre-contract and post-contract documentation for ongoing and upcoming projects. Assist in proposal preparation, tender documentation, and responding to RFQs/RFPs. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical coordination, client liaison, or project documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with construction drawings, AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel), and project tracking tools. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Prior experience in a PMC, architectural, or contracting firm is a plus. Why Join Idealign?
