Summary

We’re looking for a driven and strategic Business Development professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and helping us expand our market presence. You will collaborate with various departments to drive growth, establish partnerships, and ensure the successful execution of business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Generation of leads from Oil & Gas, Power, Process, Plant Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surge Analysis, Energy & Utilities sectors globally. 
  • Analyzing company profiles and developing effective strategies to improve business proposals. 
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the best strategies for business development. 
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with clients. 
  • Tender review records after proper assessment of RFQs and comprehending the scope of Civil, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, and Environmental works within the project. 
  • Functioning as the Proposal Manager by managing activities of the proposal team and coordinating with engineering disciplines for technical inputs and man-hour estimates. 
  • Following up with clients & subcontractors along with technical heads for techno-commercial meetings. 
  • Providing innovative, equipment-based solutions for clients. 
  • Coaching and training junior Business Developers. 
  • Responding to all issues with prompt attention. 
  • Expanding business in assigned territories while consistently improving company profitability and identifying new project opportunities. 
  • Preparing Pre-Qualification dossiers and liaising with Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities companies for pre-qualification submissions. 
  • Spearheading vendor registration to facilitate new product approvals with utilities, engineering consultants, and end-users. 
  • Analyzing business operations and strategies to identify new opportunities. 
  • Approaching and meeting prospective clients and closing deals. 
  • Conducting one-on-one meetings with key clients and presenting proposals. 
  • Determining clear strategies and schedules to achieve set targets. 
  • Supporting platform management, project portfolio management, and driving business development activities. 
  • Maintaining and improving the Business Development SharePoint. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2-10 years of experience in Business Development within an Engineering firm. 
  • Open to travel and manage business operations across India and the Middle East. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). 
  • Proven track record as a Business Development Officer. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and management skills. 
  • Ability to make sound decisions. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group presentations.
