Job Description

Qualification: B Tech or BE and MBA in Power/Energy Stream Years of experience: 3 to 7 years

Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team, focused on expanding our market presence and driving business growth in the power trading sector. This role involves strategic business development, stakeholder engagement, regulatory analysis, and cross-functional coordination to support the organizations objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop business opportunities in new and untapped markets.
Enhance PXIL s market presence through regular interactions with key stakeholders including clients, regulators, and industry bodies.
Analyze state-wise power demand and supply trends to identify trading opportunities
Drive client acquisition and foster growth in trade volumes with existing clients.
Draft, negotiate, and submit contracts/offers to potential clients in a timely manner.
Prepare impactful presentations, proposals, and reports aligned with business requirements.
Collaborate with Operations and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of trades and
Undertake extensive travel to engage with stakeholders including Regulatory
Commissions, Utilities, Clients, Members, and Industry Associations.
Interpret and analyze regulatory developments to assess their impact on the business.
Generate regular MIS reports and provide strategic insights to the management.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, government
authorities, load dispatch centers, and industry associations. Required Skills and Expertise:
In-depth understanding of power market trading and congestion management.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Prior experience in power, infrastructure, commodity, or securities trading sectors.
Exposure to commercial, procurement, or project management functions.
Passionate about markets, particularly power markets.
Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
Proactive, driven, and adept at taking initiative.
Quick thinker with tact and strategic problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
