Business Controller Metal Finance, Vedanta Jharsuguda

Roles & Responsibilities-

• Control the finance and overall spending for the metal business and drive optimization strategies
• Ensure timely and complete month end closing activities at the consolidated level
• Lead the business planning process for the metal business, including area wise plans
• Drive cost audits and file them with the MCA
• Drive cost reduction projects to contribute to the bottom line
• Prepare detailed MIS, variance analysis, financial reports and other management accounting aspects
• Drive automation projects in co-ordination with the IT department
• Laise with the external and internal auditors to ensure compliance and minimize audit observations

Desired Skills-

• CA Finance with 8-10 years' experience. A background in business finance is preferred
• Strong understanding of the financial principles, accounting practices and standards
• Well built leadership skills to manage and motivate the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
• Demonstration of business acumen, thorough understanding of key business drivers
• Ability to present financial information in a clear, concise and compelling manner to support executive decision making
• Competence in managing and developing a high-performing metal finance team
