Business Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and recommending improvements. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, product teams, and developers to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Work with stakeholders to identify, understand, and document business needs.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and specifications.

Process Improvement

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Recommend changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
• Support implementation of new processes and technologies.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the liaison between business users, technical teams, and management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment of solutions with business goals.
• Facilitate communication and conflict resolution between parties.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain clear and detailed documentation for requirements, changes, and project progress.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI analysis.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and project outcomes.

Testing & Validation

• Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and validate system changes.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions with business stakeholders.
• Ensure defects are documented, tracked, and resolved promptly.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart).
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
