Role Overview

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Compiling and analysing data, maintaining databases related to the power sector.
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly newsletters covering various aspects of the power market.
• Track regulatory developments, tenders, events, etc. related to the power sector.
• Study and present findings on past trends, existing market structure, anticipated market designs, and policy directions.
• Analysis of quantitative data related to the power sector, including power price, fuel cost, demand and supply, etc.
• Reviewing, commenting on, and/or drafting concept notes and discussion papers.
• Benchmarking the Indian Power Market against other developed international markets.
• Stay updated on the latest news and updates related to the power sector.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Communications, or related field.
• Experience: 2–3 years in business analysis, research, reporting, or related roles (internship/project experience counts).
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (must-have).
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
