Business Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Business Analyst based in India. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with business process modelling, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA engineers
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement
• Support the development and implementation of business solutions
• Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, use cases, and business rules
• Assist in user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business needs
• Support data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and drive consensus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with business process modelling and requirements management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus
