About The Department

GIA consists of 26 employees, representing 5 different nationalities and is responsible for providing assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee within business ethics, finance, and IT. Our team consists of a variety of backgrounds, working in a dynamic, ambitious, and informal environment. The GIA team is based out of Bagsvaerd, Copenhagen area, which is Novo Nordisk head office, and covers activities globally (i.e., affiliates, production sites, HQ functions) and has its extended team in Bangalore, India.

The position

As a Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will also be entrusted with below responsibilities:
  • Ensure process and security compliance across Novo Nordisk and its global affiliates, in alignment with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, validate, and enhance compliance processes by identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with affiliates worldwide to analyze compliance alerts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and present regular compliance and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting trends and benchmarks.
  • Participate in internal audits, management-initiated reviews, and compliance investigations, contributing to organization-wide integrity and transparency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. Com or BBA) or master’s degree (M. Com or MBA) in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
  • Overall experience of around 8 years, with minimum 1–3 years of professional experience in Compliance Monitoring within a global organization, consulting firm, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Possesses an open and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables; excels in stakeholder management, collaborates effectively across cultures to meet deadlines, and possesses excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
