Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bridge Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, inspection, and maintenance of bridge structures. You will play a vital role in ensuring structural integrity, public safety, and compliance with industry standards and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new bridge structures using engineering software and hand calculations.
• Conduct structural analysis for existing bridges to assess load capacity, durability, and safety.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform field inspections, condition assessments, and structural evaluations of bridges and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transportation engineers, architects, and construction managers.
• Ensure designs and projects comply with relevant codes (AASHTO, DOT, local standards).
• Assist in cost estimation, risk assessment, and project scheduling.
• Participate in the review of contractor submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Support project documentation, permits, and client communications.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within [X months] of hire.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in bridge design or inspection.
• Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., SAP2000, CSiBridge, MIDAS, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation).
• Solid understanding of AASHTO standards, LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, and local DOT guidelines.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
