Steel Bridge Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of steel bridge structures including trusses, girders, and composite bridges.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, connection details, and BOQs.
• Perform load calculations and ensure compliance with national and international bridge design codes.
• Coordinate with architects, design consultants, and site teams for project execution.
• Review fabrication drawings and provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Conduct site visits for inspection and quality checks when necessary.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and documentation for tenders.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, MIDAS, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
• Sound knowledge of IRC, IS, AASHTO, or other relevant codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with reputed engineering consultancies or infrastructure firms.
• Prior exposure to government/infrastructure projects is a plus.
