We are a fast-growing multi-business platform working across both consumer (B2C) and enterprise/partner-led (B2B) services. As we build a stronger in-house marketing function, we are looking for someone who can scale growth through performance marketing, targeted campaigns, and marketing automation with clear ownership of outcomes.
Role Summary
The Branding Manager at Float is a senior, hands-on creative leader responsible for driving brand expression, creative quality, and execution across all channels. This role blends

strategic thinking, people leadership, and high-level craft

, requiring direct ownership of key design outputs alongside team management.
You will lead creative initiatives end-to-end from defining visual direction and brand narratives to executing flagship assets, campaigns, and product storytelling. You will work closely with

Brand, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership

to translate complex workflows into clear, compelling, and scalable creative systems.
Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership with Hands-On Execution

  • Own and elevate Float s creative vision across brand, product, marketing, and sales touchpoints
  • Lead conceptual development for major campaigns, product launches, and ecosystem storytelling.
  • Personally design and execute high-impact assets where quality and complexity demand senior involvement
  • Connect customer insights, business objectives, and performance data to creative strategy
  • Guide a team of designers while maintaining direct accountability for creative excellence

Team Management & Creative Mentorship

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers through structured feedback, 1:1s, and growth plans
  • Oversee daily creative operations: briefing, prioritization, reviews, and delivery
  • Foster a culture of high craft standards, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Creative Process & Workflow Ownership

  • Build and refine scalable workflows for creative intake, reviews, approvals, and production
  • Maintain visibility on timelines, bandwidth, and resourcing to ensure predictable, high-quality output
  • Establish and enforce quality benchmarks across digital, product UI support, sales collateral, events, and motion

AI-Enabled Creative Innovation

  • Lead the adoption of AI-powered workflows to improve speed, ideation, and production efficiency
  • Define best practices for responsible, brand-safe, and effective use of AI tools
  • Continuously explore emerging creative technologies and integrate relevant tools into Float s creative pipeline

Stakeholder Alignment & Strategic Communication

  • Serve as the primary creative partner for Brand, Marketing, Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Leadership teams
  • Translate business goals and go-to-market strategies into clear creative direction
  • Present creative concepts with confidence, articulating rationale, impact, and trade-offs
  • Manage expectations around scope, timelines, and revisions while protecting creative quality

Business & Brand Performance Thinking

  • Partner with marketing and growth teams to understand performance drivers across acquisition, engagement, and conversion
  • Use data, feedback, and market insights to inform creative decisions
  • Balance innovation with clarity, compliance, and long-term brand trust
  • Evaluate creative impact on both near-term performance and long-term brand equity
Core Skills & Competencies

Creative & Strategic Thinking

  • Strong storytelling and conceptual skills grounded in B2B + B2C.
  • Ability to build and evolve scalable brand systems across platforms and audiences
  • Clear, persuasive communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Technical Mastery

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong working knowledge of motion and video workflows (After Effects, Premiere)
  • Experience using AI tools for ideation, design, and content production
  • Solid understanding of digital, print, presentation, and event production

Leadership, Operations & Communication

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership
  • Strong prioritization, project management, and decision-making skills
  • High emotional intelligence and calm leadership in fast-paced environments
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5-11 years of professional experience with a strong portfolio across digital, brand, motion, and campaigns
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring creative teams
  • Experience building or improving creative processes in a scaling organization
  • Background in B2B SaaS, healthcare, legal, or technology-led companies preferred
  • Agency experience or managing external vendors is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled creative workflows is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor s degree in design, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
