What would you do?

As the Marketing Planning Lead, you’ll work as a critical part of the Brand Management, Comms Planning & Execution sub-team, supporting with the development and execution of brand strategies and integrated, annual omnichannel marketing strategies for Mobility & Convenience (M&C). You will have a lens over all projects the team run, helping to develop project plans, and keeping the team on track. You will leverage your broad retail marketing expertise to clearly define, scope and size opportunities to turn local market challenges into global solutions for multiple markets.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing communications, end to end campaign management and projects
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive marketing optimisation and decisioning
  • Expertise in broad media mix (OOH, TV, Digital, VOD, Social)
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and optimisation strategies.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of driving collaboration across teams.
  • Strong project management skills, essential for the successful delivery of the role’s deliverables, combined with a customer-obsessed, value-driven approach that consistently prioritises the customer while delivering long-term business impact.

  • Channel Management Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and management of hub demand and cost management
  • Manage agenda, creation of presentations for bi-weekly market level meetings, and monthly agenda for collaboration sessions with all brand & comms colleagues
  • Manage communications channels to brand and comms colleagues in market, ensuring there are not multiple asks from NoEs
  • Support on large scale campaigns, to manage statuses, create global level GTMs
  • Manage global view of media and activations of markets at global level through a synch calendar
  • Using Nielsen data, review competitor advertising sharing learnings on spends, creative and messaging with all markets monthly
  • Create, manage campaign review and approvals process for M&C with NoEs
  • Regular audits of Aprimo (asset DAM), ensuring content is correct and tagged
  • Content audit for B2B and B2C, reviewing against accuracy of messaging, creative quality and performance
  • Gather requirements for new opportunities or single market asks, understanding the full end-to-end process and opportunity
  • Keep all toolkits and guidelines up to date, via Aprimo
  • Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and lead budget management, and resource utilisation to maximise campaign effectiveness
  • Your role sits in the M&C Marketing Network of Excellence (NoE), which is made up of a diverse and talented team of marketers and strategists, working together as a global centre of expertise.
  • The NoE collaborates across markets to set strategic direction and standardise leading-edge approaches for the M&C business, working closely with priority local markets to co-create key deliverables and plans.
  • You will work closely with the Hub on the execution of campaigns, content and channel execution across M&C to fit the needs of each market while maintaining global consistency.
  • You will be a key liaison point for integrated planning and markets to understand digital performance.
  • You will collaborate with local markets, the Experience& Journey Innovation sub-team, and the AoR. You will also work closely with the Intelligence & Insights NoE to ensure data-driven decision-making and campaign ROI maximisation.
