Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales operations of our Life Insurance Agency Channel. The ideal candidate will have 7–8 years of total experience, including a minimum of 2 years of team handling experience in core life insurance. This role is similar to a Branch Manager role, with a strong focus on driving agency sales, team leadership, and achieving branch-level targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Agency Development Managers (ADMs) or Insurance Advisors to drive business growth.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly branch sales targets through effective planning and execution.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and motivate the agency sales team.
  • Monitor team performance and provide strategic direction and support.
  • Build a strong agency network and expand the business through new agent onboarding and activation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and on-ground field visits.
  • Maintain a high level of engagement with customers and channel partners.
  • Drive persistency and quality of business at the branch level.

Key Requirements:

  • Total Experience: 7–8 years in Sales, preferably in Life Insurance.
  • Minimum Team Handling Experience: 2 years (mandatory) in Core Life Insurance.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and team performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide team members to achieve business objectives.
  • In-depth understanding of the agency sales model in the insurance domain.
  • Graduation is mandatory; MBA preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Currently working or recently worked in a life insurance company in an Agency Channel leadership role.
  • Strong local network and market knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel within the region for business development.
