Branch Manager – Senior Educational Counselor

Experience Required: 5+ years in educational counseling, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager – Senior Educational Counselor to lead our Kochi branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, managing the counseling team, and driving business growth. You will play a key role in guiding students through career and education planning, while ensuring the branch meets its performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branch Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the Kochi branch

• Ensure smooth implementation of company policies and procedures
• Maintain the professional image and compliance of the branch
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports to senior management

2. Educational Counseling:Provide in-depth counseling to students regarding overseas education options (universities, courses, visa processes)

• Conduct career guidance sessions and evaluate student profiles
• Stay updated with education industry trends, university application cycles, and visa regulations

3. Business Development & Revenue Generation:Drive student enrollment and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets

• Plan and execute local marketing initiatives (seminars, webinars, school/college visits)
• Build partnerships with local institutions and referral networks

4. Team Leadership:Hire, train, and mentor branch staff (counselors, front office, telecallers)

• Set individual and team targets and track performance
• Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer service

5. Customer Relationship Management:Maintain excellent relations with students and parents

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow-up service
• Handle escalations and resolve client concerns professionally

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Education, Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in educational counseling; 2+ years in a managerial role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with proven leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with study abroad programs (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.) is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms
• Preferred Skills:Multilingual (Malayalam, English, Hindi)
• Goal-driven with the ability to handle pressure
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
