Branch Manager-Rural

As a Branch Manager-Rural in the Retail Banking unit, your role involves managing and scaling up the Rural banking business for the branch. You will be responsible for creating strategies to achieve growth targets by efficiently managing operations and resources. Developing constructive relationships with key local dealers is crucial to boosting the volume of business and establishing a strong foundation as their financial partner of choice. Your accountability extends to ensuring the expansion of branch footprint, product penetration, and the delivery of high-quality customer service. Collaboration with product and operations teams is essential to drive effective customer acquisition, servicing, and deepening. Building up teams, systems, processes, and a culture relevant to the branch network scale is also part of your role. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Own the liabilities for the branch and oversee all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration, and sales. - Work towards achieving sustainable profitability for Liabilities sales of the branch. - Manage a team of assistant branch managers and relationship officers to drive client acquisition, deepen existing relationships, and address all customer needs by providing banking services. - Assess and monitor portfolio quality and loan limits, conduct field audits and customer verifications. - Achieve productivity, efficiency, financial targets, customer service targets, and ensure statutory compliance for the branch. - Identify sales opportunities by assessing local market conditions. - Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, and business opportunities. - Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws. - Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers. - Spearhead manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes to ensure high-performing talent across levels. - Develop and implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives. - Provide training, coaching, development, and guidance to branch personnel. - Evaluate the feasibility of new initiatives to improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with other branch departments and functions to provide products and services to customers. **Secondary Responsibilities:** - Spearhead manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes for all employees. - Implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives. - Provide training, coaching, development, and guidance to branch personnel. - Evaluate the feasibility of new initiatives to improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with other branch departments and functions to enhance product and service offerings to customers. **Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:** - Mentor and coach senior team members to emphasize customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity. - Create an environment for the team to focus on automation and digital enablement to meet customers" needs holistically. - Attract and retain top talent to meet the bank's rapid growth targets. **Key Success Metrics:** - CASA and TD growth targets. - Customer acquisition targets. **Educational Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Maths, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, Engineering, Management, or any other related field. **Experience:** - 6-12 years of relevant experience in Rural Branch Banking or allied business.,
