Branch In-Charge

As a Profitability Manager, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and optimize the profitability of the branch. You will be tasked with setting and monitoring branch targets, ensuring portfolio quality through superior underwriting and collections, and managing all branch operating costs effectively. In addition to financial management, you will also be responsible for people management, including motivating and handling HR functions for the branch team. Customer experience management is crucial in this role, as you will be required to ensure superior customer service and handle service issues professionally. To succeed in this position, you must achieve contributed value targets, drive sales volumes for multiple products, and maintain quality underwriting standards to meet sales targets while minimizing delinquencies and fraud. Managing TATs on credit processing and minimizing discrepancies in disbursals are also key responsibilities. Monitoring branch performance is a critical aspect of the role, involving tracking key drivers such as contributed value, profitability, expenses, losses, and employee retention and productivity. You will be expected to motivate and develop the branch team, drive them towards excellence, and keep attrition rates low through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and mentorship. Key responsibilities include planning and executing targets for all products, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities, fostering a professional work culture that encourages enthusiasm and teamwork, and understanding credit and operational risks.
