Competitive Cracker is a leading EdTech institution currently expanding our successful training model from Kerala into the vital Tamil Nadu market, starting with our flagship center in Chennai. We specialize in high-demand courses including NET Physics, CTET, Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Robotics, School Tuition, and Spoken English. We are looking for a highly capable and autonomous leader to set up and manage our new Chennai branch.

Role Overview

The Branch Administrator Manager will be the foundational leader of Competitive Cracker's Chennai operations. This is a critical, dual-focused role requiring expertise in center administration and market expansion. The manager will be responsible for successfully launching the branch and then managing all administrative, operational, sales support, and academic coordination functions to ensure the center's growth and profitability.



Key Responsibilities

The duties are divided into three core areas: Setup, Operations, and Growth.


I. Daily Administration & Operations

  • Center Management:

    Oversee all daily office activities, ensuring smooth and efficient center operation for all courses (NET Physics, CTET, DM, Cyber Security, Robotics, School Tuition, Spoken English).
  • Coordination with HQ:

    Serve as the primary liaison between the Chennai branch and the Kerala Headquarters for academic planning, sales targets, marketing campaign execution, and financial approvals.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

    Maintain meticulous records, including student registers, ID cards, fee receipts, admission files, and ensure adherence to basic local regulatory and financial compliance (e.g., GST documentation).
  • Financial Handling:

    Manage daily petty cash, coordinate rent and utility payments, and compile detailed monthly expense reports for submission to the Accounts Department.
  • Reporting:

    Prepare and submit daily MIS (Management Information System) and performance analysis reports on admissions, walk-ins, and team activity to HQ.


II. Team, Academic, and Sales Coordination

  • Team Leadership:

    Manage a branch team of 10–30 members, handling daily attendance, leave approvals, basic onboarding, and maintaining staff discipline and performance reporting.
  • Sales Enablement:

    Support the local sales team by ensuring timely lead assignment, daily follow-up tracking, and coordinating admissions closing efforts and weekend review meetings.
  • Marketing Execution:

    Manage all local offline marketing efforts, including coordinating school/college visits, organizing seminars for target courses (NET/CTET), flyer distribution, local tie-ups, and coordinating with social media content creators.
  • Academic Oversight:

    Coordinate with and manage the performance, attendance, and punctuality of all course faculties. Organize demo classes, special sessions, guest webinars, and manage the overall classroom timetable.
  • Student Experience:

    Ensure high levels of student satisfaction by promptly handling student/parent escalations, resolving complaints, monitoring class quality, and actively working to improve student retention and renewals.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:

    4-8 years of experience in Center Management, Branch Operations, or Office Administration, ideally within the EdTech or Training Institute sector.
  • Market Knowledge:

    Mandatory experience and deep understanding of the

    Tamil Nadu education market

    , including local competition, student behavior, and effective marketing channels.
  • Launch Experience:

    Proven experience in successfully setting up a new branch or center from the ground up is essential.
  • Communication:

    Must be fluent in English and Tamil

    . Basic understanding of Malayalam is a strong advantage for seamless coordination with Kerala HQ.
  • Management Skills:

    Demonstrated ability to handle multi-department coordination (Sales, Marketing, Academics, HR, Accounts) and manage a mid-sized team (10-30 members).
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Competency in using CRM/LMS platforms and managing basic IT and digital classroom requirements.
