Job Summary

The Bodyshop Manager will oversee the complete operations of the bodyshop, ensuring efficient workflow, high repair quality, and strong customer satisfaction. The role demands strict control over productivity, TAT (turnaround time), insurance coordination, and adherence to OEM standards. The manager must drive operational discipline, manage the team effectively, and maintain profitability while delivering a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bodyshop operations, including vehicle intake, repair workflow, and delivery.
• Ensure repair quality meets Hyundai OEM standards and conduct final quality checks.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals, claim processing, and documentation.
• Monitor productivity, labour utilisation, and TAT; implement corrective actions where needed.
• Manage bodyshop technicians, painters, and support staff; ensure skill development and performance tracking.
• Handle customer escalations, maintain CSI scores, and ensure smooth communication throughout the repair process.
• Maintain inventory levels for consumables, tools, and equipment; ensure compliance with safety norms.
• Analyse revenue, cost, and profitability metrics; generate periodic operational reports.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce rework, and improve overall output.
