The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of blockchain developers, guiding them in the design, development, and deployment of robust and secure blockchain solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical expert who can drive architectural decisions, ensure high-quality code, and translate business objectives into technical strategies.Key responsibilitiesLead a team of blockchain engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide architectural and technical guidance for the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain applications and protocols.Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from initial research and requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement best practices to ensure the quality and security of the codebase.Mentor and support team members in their technical and professional growth, identifying areas for skill development.Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams, to define project scopes and deliverables.Manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the successful delivery of projects on schedule.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology, Web3, and layer-2 solutions to drive innovation.Ensure the implementation of robust security measures, coordinate smart contract audits, and address potential vulnerabilities.Communicate with stakeholders and, where applicable, the broader community regarding project updates and technical changes.Required skills and qualificationsTechnical expertiseExperience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years dedicated to blockchain technologies.Team Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing a team of software developers.Languages: Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Solidity, Go, and Python, or others depending on the project.Blockchain Platforms: Deep knowledge of blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other Layer 1/Layer 2 chains.Smart Contracts: Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying secure smart contracts.
