Location: Mumbai, On-siteType: Full-timeExperience: 0–1.5 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an ambitious Blockchain Developer with up to 1.5 years of experience to join our protocol engineering team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on the foundation of our blockchain platform, including consensus algorithms, virtual machine design, and peer-to-peer networking. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to systems-level blockchain development and smart contract execution.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of core blockchain components, including:Consensus algorithms and validator logic.Peer-to-peer networking layers and transaction propagation.Mempool management and transaction lifecycle.Virtual machine execution (EVM, WASM, or custom VMs).Support integration of protocol features with smart contract and dApp teams.Contribute to the development of gas metering, bytecode execution, and security mechanisms in the smart contract engine.Participate in profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing blockchain performance, storage, and transaction throughput.Write clear technical documentation and assist with code reviews.Stay up to date with evolving trends in blockchain, cryptography, and protocol security.Required Skills0–1.5 years of experience in blockchain, systems programming, or distributed systems development.Proficiency in at least one low-level programming language such as Rust, Go, C.Understanding of basic concepts of blockchain technology, including blocks, transactions, consensus mechanisms, and peer-to-peer networking.Solid foundational understanding of:Blockchain architecture and consensus models (PoS, BFT).Transaction lifecycles and state machines.Peer-to-peer networking concepts.Basic familiarity with smart contract execution engines (EVM or WASM).Exposure to writing or reading smart contracts in Solidity, Rust (Anchor/Solana), or similar languages.Awareness of smart contract security principles, such as reentrancy, gas limits, and storage patterns.Familiarity with cryptographic primitives including hashing algorithms (SHA256), Merkle trees, and digital signatures.
