Description
You will be responsible for accurate billing and invoicing to customers. Your key roles and responsibilities will include preparing and distributing customer invoices on a daily basis, ensuring timely and accurate information. You will be utilizing AvaIara (sales tax software) to ensure accurate sales tax assessment and interacting with sales and operations teams to ensure the accuracy of customer correspondence. Maintaining a database of tax-exempt customers, partnering with the accounting team to improve processes and controls, responding to requests from external auditors, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies across teams, assisting team members with special projects as needed, and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and customers. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 4-5 years of work experience in the billing process in an MNC environment. A graduate or post-graduate degree in Accounting/Finance is required. You should have good experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, strong critical thinking and analytical skills, a desire to learn processes from beginning to end, knowledge and experience with financial reporting systems (preferably Salesforce), excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a hands-on capacity, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules, and proactively and effectively communicate status and challenges encountered. The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount.
