Reports To: Unit Head / Corporate Finance

Job Purpose:

The Billing Head will be responsible for overseeing the complete billing operations of the hospital, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely revenue cycle management. The role involves leading the billing team, coordinating with clinical and administrative departments, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage end-to-end hospital billing processes (IPD, OPD, TPA, and Cashless).
• Ensure accuracy in patient billing, charge capture, and reconciliation.
• Monitor revenue cycle performance, reducing billing errors and delays.
• Coordinate with insurance/TPA departments for approvals and settlements.
• Handle patient queries and resolve billing-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Maintain MIS reports and submit periodic billing and collection reports to management.
• Train, mentor, and monitor billing staff for improved performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinical, finance, and operations teams to streamline billing processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hospital billing systems, TPA processes, and revenue cycle management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations professionally.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Hospital Administration.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in hospital billing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in hospital billing software and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
