Billing and Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Management

• Prepare and verify contractor/vendor bills (RA bills, final bills).
• Cross-check quantities as per drawings, site measurements, and work orders.
• Maintain measurement sheets, abstract sheets, and billing records.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors, and Accounts for timely billing & certification.

2. Estimation & BOQ Preparation

• Prepare detailed estimates for projects based on drawings, specifications, and RERA requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs for civil, finishing, and interior works.
• Assist in rate analysis for new items and tender packages.

3. Cost Control & Analysis

• Track project costs against budgets and highlight variances.
• Assist in preparing cash flow statements and work progress reports.
• Monitor material consumption vs. approved estimates.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain DPR, WPR, and MPR data related to billing and estimation.
• Support audits with all required billing documentation.
• Ensure all billing formats are in line with company SOPs and real estate compliance standards.

5. Coordination & Site Support

• Coordinate with Project Manager for progress updates and billing schedules.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and measurements.
• Liaise with procurement for rate finalization and contractor negotiations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, billing procedures, and estimation techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and billing software (if any).
• Good understanding of RCC, masonry, finishing, waterproofing, PHE & external works.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple contractors.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Additional certification in QS / Estimation is an advantage.

• Accurate BOQs and estimates.
• Timely certification of contractor bills.
• Cost monitoring and deviation reports.
• Measurement accuracy with zero discrepancies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
