Billing and Estimation Engineer

Estimation and Costing:

Accurately estimate quantities from drawings and specifications, prepare BOQs, and analyze rates for various construction items.

Billing:

Prepare and certify RA bills, manage subcontractor billing, and reconcile material statements.

Verification:

Verify certified RA bills and ensure accuracy of all billing records.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of all billing-related documents, including client and subcontractor bills.

Communication:

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Project Management:

Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost control by providing accurate cost information and ensuring adherence to budgets.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CAD).

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and cost data to accurately estimate quantities and costs.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and other team members.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve billing-related issues and discrepancies.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
