Billing and Estimation Engineer

You will be responsible for accurately calculating project costs, preparing detailed budgets, managing billing processes, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and project documentation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by gathering information from various stakeholders. - Budget Management: Monitoring and managing project budgets, controlling costs, and adjusting estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. - Billing & Invoicing: Managing the entire billing process, creating invoices, and maintaining records of all billing transactions. - Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with contract terms, drawings, and specifications, and preparing work progress and cost variance reports. - Client Communication: Interacting with clients and other external parties to resolve billing-related issues and ensure smooth financial operations. - Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and contractors. In addition, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera), MS Excel, and AutoCAD. - Analytical & Numerical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and perform numerical calculations for costing and billing. - Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills to interact effectively with different parties. - Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of construction processes, relevant Indian codes (e.g., IS, CPWD), and standard contract procedures. - Educational Background: A B.E./B. Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is often required. Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and provident fund.
