Job Title: Bike Technician – Premium Segment (BigWing)Experience Required: 1 to 3 Years Location: VFM Honda BigWing (Indiranagar / Marathahalli / Mahadevapura / Hennur) Department: Service Reports To: Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager 🔧 Key Responsibilities:Premium Bike Servicing & Maintenance Perform routine and advanced service for Honda BigWing motorcycles (300cc – 750cc range). Accurate Diagnostics Use Honda diagnostic tools (like i-HDS) to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues. Engine & Transmission Work Handle engine tuning, clutch repair, gearbox adjustments, and fuel injection servicing. Electronic System Checks Diagnose and resolve issues with ABS, ride modes, console errors, and ECU faults. Test Rides & Quality Checks Conduct pre- and post-service test rides to ensure the bike is performing as per standard. Premium Customer Handling Coordinate with service advisors to understand high-end customer expectations and deliver quality work. Job Card Execution Complete job card tasks efficiently and report findings or additional repair needs. Genuine Parts Handling Use genuine Honda BigWing parts and ensure proper part replacement process. Tool Management & Safety Use torque wrenches, diagnostic devices, and other precision tools as per guidelines. Workshop Cleanliness & Discipline Maintain high workshop hygiene, especially when working on high-value motorcycles. Team Collaboration Work closely with service advisors, floor in-charges, and parts department. Customer Interaction (as needed) Explain technical findings to customers when required, in coordination with the advisor. Warranty Claim Support Assist in identifying and processing repairs under warranty policies. Reporting & Documentation Properly document all technical work completed in the service record. Training & Development Attend technical training sessions provided by Honda to stay updated on new models and systems. ✅ Candidate Profile:Experience: 1–3 years in premium bike servicing (Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Royal Enfield, etc.) Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering (preferred) Skills: Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, attention to detail License: Valid two-wheeler driving license Languages: Basic communication in Kannada/English/Hindi is an advantage Personality: Reliable, disciplined, customer-focused
