Role Overview: As the IT Infrastructure Bid Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee the entire bid process for IT infrastructure projects. This includes identifying potential opportunities, formulating winning strategies, analyzing requirements, leading cross-functional teams, managing submissions, engaging with clients, and tracking bid performance. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess IT infrastructure project opportunities to determine their viability. - Develop bid strategies that are in line with client requirements and organizational objectives. - Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) to evaluate feasibility, risks, and compliance needs. - Lead diverse bid teams comprising technical, financial, and legal experts to create compelling proposals. - Coordinate inputs, ensure adherence to timelines, and deliver high-quality submissions promptly. - Engage with clients at various stages of the bid process, including presentations and negotiations. - Monitor bid performance metrics such as win rates and volumes, and implement enhancements to the process. Qualifications Required: - Total of 15 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in bid management or related roles, preferably within the IT infrastructure Products and Services sector. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with an MBA or MCA in IT, Electronics, or Computer Science. - Proficiency in IT infrastructure technologies such as Servers, Storage, Networking, Cloud, and Security Appliances. - Familiarity with bid management software and tools. - Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Demonstrate project management skills and the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively. - Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet challenging deadlines. Additional Company Details: The company prefers candidates with experience in managing multiple Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Products and Solutions, along with expertise in OEM relationships.
