As the Bid Manager for turbo compressor projects at Siemens Energy, your role is crucial in crafting winning proposals to meet the highest quality standards within budget and time constraints. You will collaborate with a diverse team to analyze customer requirements, develop competitive offers, and assess project risks and opportunities. Your responsibilities include coordinating project status, conducting negotiations, and ensuring smooth handover to project management. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely and high-quality submission of proposals within financial constraints - Lead tender preparation, coordination, and tracking for turbo compressor projects in various industries - Translate customer requirements into competitive offers with an interdisciplinary team - Utilize technical calculation programs to build turbo compressors - Assess technical feasibility of machine concepts, identify project risks, and determine costs - Coordinate project status, facilitate clear communication within teams, and conduct project negotiations - Drive conceptual solution development and develop unique selling propositions - Collaborate with internal departments such as Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Procurement Qualifications Required: - Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering - Minimum of 5 years experience in the energy industry, preferably with turbo machines - Experience in developing winning proposals for integrally geared compression projects - Deep product knowledge of integrally geared compressors is advantageous - Strong team building, communication, and social skills - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle global customer base - Global cultural sensitivity and collaboration skills Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry division focuses on decarbonizing the industrial sector by enabling sustainable processes and energy transition.
