Banquet Manager

As a Banquet Manager, your role involves selling available and lettable space in banquets to optimize revenue and provide food and beverage services to guests using the Banqueting facilities. Your responsibilities include assisting patrons in the proper preparation and effective programming of planned functions. You are expected to abide by the hotel's Mission statement and follow its values and rules. Organizing, developing, operating, and administering the department and its personnel, as well as following up on methods, systems, and controls set up by top management, are key aspects of your job. Additionally, maintaining the social Functions History Card records and records on prospective clients is crucial. You will need to make repeat business calls on important hotel and banquets clients, develop banquets sales through personal contacts, and enhance existing banquets menus for various occasions like tea, snacks, cocktails, formal sit-down lunch, and dinner. **Key Responsibilities:** - Abide by the Mission statement - Follow the values and rules of the hotel - Organize, develop, operate, and administer the department and its personnel - Maintain records of social Functions History Card and prospective clients - Make repeat business calls on important hotel and banquets clients - Develop banquets sales through personal contacts - Improve existing banquets menus for different events **Qualifications Required:** - Total work experience of 4 years - Knowledge of banquets operations The job offers benefits including food, health insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
