About the Role:

Bankruptcy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Bankruptcy Case Management

• Review, process, and monitor

  bankruptcy filings, claims, and court documents

  .
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all bankruptcy cases in internal systems.
  
• File proofs of claim, reaffirmation agreements, and other bankruptcy-related documentation.
  
• Track case milestones (filings, hearings, discharges, dismissals, etc.) and ensure timely responses.
  

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all actions are in full compliance with

  bankruptcy laws, federal and state regulations (e.g., Chapter 7, 11, 13)

  .
• Collaborate with legal teams to interpret court orders and respond to trustee or attorney requests.
  
• Maintain adherence to

  FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)

  and other applicable regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification in

  Bankruptcy Law, Paralegal Studies, or Financial Compliance

  .
• Experience in a

  banking, credit union, or loan servicing environment

  .
• Knowledge of

  core banking systems, loan origination, and collections software

  .
• Familiarity with

  financial restructuring, insolvency, or debt negotiation

  .
