• Review and process 

  bankruptcy

  cases

   for mortgage loans in accordance with investor and regulatory guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
• Ensure 

  accurate and timely updates

   in the servicing system for all bankruptcy milestones (Filing, Proof of Claim, Plan Setup, Payment Monitoring, Discharge, or Dismissal).
• Coordinate with 

  attorneys, courts, and internal departments

   for case updates and documentation.
• Review 

  bankruptcy

  plans and payment schedules

   to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Work on 

  Proof of Claim (POC), Payment Change Notices, and Post-Petition Fees

  .
• Identify and escalate 

  exceptions, discrepancies, or legal issues

   to supervisors.
• Maintain 

  compliance with federal

  bankruptcy

  laws, investor guidelines, and company policies.

• Generate and review periodic 

  bankruptcy

  status reports

   for management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 

  2 years of hands-on experience

   in the 

  US Mortgage

  Bankruptcy

  process.

• In-depth understanding of 

  Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13

  bankruptcy

  cases.

• Familiarity with 

  MSP, LPS, LoanSphere, or other loan servicing platforms.

• Strong knowledge of 

  US mortgage servicing workflows and investor guidelines

   (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive legal information.
• Good communication and analytical skills
