About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple backend development projects with strong ownership and accountability.
• Gather technical requirements, define specifications, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively support their professional growth and onboarding.
• Guide the team through architectural design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend solutions using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop and maintain integrations between services, ensuring performance optimization.
• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests aligned with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide third-level technical support.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to design and maintain robust web applications.
• Contribute to improving processes, architectures, and engineering practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and introduce modern tools and practices.
  

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with multi-threaded systems, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent debugging, performance profiling, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities, with a focus on team alignment.
  

Good To Have

• Experience leading small to mid-sized engineering teams.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerized deployments Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
