Backend Engineer - Node.js

You will actively participate in all agile rituals, including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, story huddles, retrospectives, and the creation of burn-up charts. Your responsibility will be to ensure that all work is properly captured in Jira. Additionally, you will support and develop software developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B. Eng/ B. Tech degree from an engineering stream from a reputable engineering institute. You must have a strong proficiency in JavaScript and other related technologies. A basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 is required. Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express is essential. It is important to have an understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds. You should also possess a good understanding of server-side templating languages and server-side CSS pre-processors. Knowledge of databases like MySQL and the ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system are necessary. Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka is preferred. Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile and desktop, and optimizing output accordingly, is important. Experience in creating database schemas that represent and support business processes will be advantageous for this role.,
