Backend Engineer - Node.js

You will collaborate closely with the development and management teams to fully understand product and project requirements. You are expected to contribute actively to the design and implementation of ideas throughout the project's lifecycle. Your role will involve delivering with excellence the development and execution of test plans, project documentation, and product releases while complying with SDLC best practices. It is essential to take accountability for assigned work and ensure on-time delivery throughout the entire project's duration. You should be able to accept and deliver on challenging development assignments of back-end solutions while seeking expert advice or consulting other sources as needed. As a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js, you should have 5 to 7 years of experience and be available to start immediately. Your responsibilities will include extensive experience in programming using Node.JS utilizing TypeScript / JavaScript and implementing third party libraries. You should also have experience with GIT, CI/CD solutions, standards, and implementations, as well as a basic understanding/experience with the NEST.JS Framework. A deep understanding of time-series, document store, key-value store, and relational databases is required, along with experience working with databases such as MongoDB and Redis, Redis TS, Redis Graph. You must have experience in working with and designing REST APIs, and creating documentation using OpenAPI. A solid understanding of microservices architecture, design, and deployment at scale using Docker/Kubernetes is essential, as well as experience in working with both at-rest and in-motion data. Understanding of Pub-Sub architecture and patterns using technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT is necessary. You should also be familiar with commonly used communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, SSH, and Websockets, and have experience working with OAUTH 2.0 solutions such as Auth0 or Keycloak. A basic understanding of how React frontend projects work is also required. Desired skills include experience designing scalable distributed systems leveraging reference architectures and best practices, working with IoT devices, technologies, and standards, and other database technologies such as Elastic and InfluxDB. Experience with regulatory compliance (CCPA, GDPR), a solid foundation of Linux and Windows Server experience, and experience with basic networking component design and implementation such as VPN, load balancing, and proxies would be beneficial for this role.,
