Backend Developer (4–5 Years Experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and optimize

  scalable, high-performance RESTful services

  using

  Java (Spring Boot)

  .
• Translate complex business requirements into

  clean, maintainable, and testable code

  with a focus on long-term maintainability.

• Architect and fine-tune

  relational (SQL) and NoSQL database schemas for performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain

  comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests

  in a Spring context.
• Lead or contribute significantly to

  API design, versioning strategies, and documentation standards

  .
• Diagnose and resolve

  production performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues

  .
• Participate in and drive

  code reviews

  , mentoring junior engineers and promoting coding best practices.
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines

  , branching strategies, and automated deployment workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure

  secure, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions

  .

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4–5 years

  of hands-on backend development with

  Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

  .
• Strong understanding of

  OOP, design patterns, multithreading, and concurrency

  .
• Expertise with

  JDBC, SQL, query optimization, and database design

  .
• Proven experience with

  unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)

  and

  Spring integration testing

  .
• Solid grasp of

  REST API best practices

  , JSON serialization, and API versioning.
• Proficient with

  Git

  , branching workflows, and collaborative development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a

  proactive, ownership-driven mindset

  .

Good-to-Have:

• Exposure to Node.js
• Experience with

  messaging systems

  (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  NoSQL technologies

  (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with

  production monitoring and observability tools

  (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Knowledge of

  secure coding practices

  and authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
