Backend Developer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Backend Developer (NestJS + AWS) to join our core engineering team in Delhi. You’ll work closely with founders and product teams to design, build, and scale backend systems that power our healthcare applications.

This role is ideal for developers with 2+ years of experience who are confident with backend systems and want to step into greater ownership, database design, and architectural decision-making.

📍 Location: On-site, Rajouri Garden, Delhi

 🕐 Working Days: 6 days/week

Tech Stack

Core: NestJS (primary), TypeScript

Data: MySQL, Redis

Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems in NestJS + TypeScript.

Design and implement APIs and microservices.

Create and manage database schemas, including migrations for new projects.

Optimize MySQL databases and caching layers (Redis).

Support deployments and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure production reliability.

Collaborate with frontend, design, and product teams to ship features fast.

Contribute to architectural discussions and gradually mentor junior teammates.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of backend development experience.

Strong expertise in NestJS and TypeScript.

Solid understanding of MySQL (schema design, queries, migrations) and Redis.

Hands-on experience with AWS services.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to design for scale.

Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

Prior work in healthtech or healthcare platforms.

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Exposure to frontend frameworks (Next.js, Angular).

Knowledge of healthcare security & compliance (HIPAA, privacy).

Experience with other cloud providers (GCP, Azure) or multi-cloud setups.
