Your Role

Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using
Python
(FastAPI, Flask, Django)
Develop and deploy microservices architectures following best practices in scalability, API design, and DevOps
Interface with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) data stores
Implement third-party API integrations (e.g. identity providers, gov databases)
Collaborate on threat modeling, secure coding, containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing

Requirements

2+ years in backend development with hands-on
Python
experience
Experience building microservices with RESTful APIs
Strong database design & query optimization skills
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices (OWASP, JWT, TLS)
Comfortable working with Docker, CI/CD tools, Git workflows
Excellent communication skills and product-first mindset

Good To Have

Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience in fintech or compliance software
