We are seeking an accomplished Senior Backend Engineer to architect and build the intelligent, scalable services that power our next-generation, multi-tenant SaaS platform.You will be the engine behind our product, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust backend systems with a strong focus on productionizing advanced AI, building intelligent agents, and ensuring enterprise-grade security and scalability.This is more than just a coding role; it requires a deep product mindset and sharp critical thinking.You will be building the core of our platform, turning complex requirements into reliable APIs and services that communicate seamlessly (A2A) in a Multi-Cloud Platform (MCP) environment.If you are passionate about building high-performance systems in both Python and NodeJS, and are excited by the challenge of building with modern agentic frameworks like LangGraph, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape a market-defining product.
In this role, you?re expected to :
- Demonstrate a strong product mindset, thinking not just about technical implementation but also about user impact, business value, and long-term architectural health.
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex problems, designing systems that are secure, scalable, and maintainable within a multi-tenant architecture.
- Take full ownership of the entire lifecycle of backend services, from architectural design and development to deployment and operational excellence.
- Act as a key technical leader, bridging the gap between data science, product management, and production engineering to deliver tangible value.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure and scalable solutions for our multi-tenant SaaS platform, ensuring robust data isolation and reliable Application-to Application (A2A) communication.
- Design and build intelligent, autonomous agents using modern frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen to orchestrate complex tasks and workflows.
- Develop high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs primarily in Python, leveraging frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
- Develop and maintain high-concurrency services and APIs using NodeJS where appropriate, contributing to our polyglot microservices ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize and deploy complex Machine Learning and NLP models (e.g., RAG frameworks) as robust microservices.
- Design and manage database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity for large and complex datasets.
- Own the deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of your services in a Multi-Cloud Platform (MCP)environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- Experience : (5-8) years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Product Mindset & Critical Thinking : A proven product-first approach is a must. You must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, the ability to understand business needs, and a passion for building solutions that solve real-world user problems.
- Multi-Tenant Architecture : Verifiable experience designing and building backend systems for a multi-tenant SaaS application is required.
- Polyglot Experience : Expert proficiency in Python is essential. Professional experience with NodeJS for building backend services is also required.
- ML in Production : Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying machine learning or deep learning models in a production environment.
- Agentic Frameworks : Exposure to or a strong interest in modern agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar is highly desirable.
- Database Skills : Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL and writing advanced SQL.
- Cloud & DevOps : Experience deploying to a Multi-Cloud Platform MCP environment AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization technologies Docker, Kubernetes) is essential.
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
