Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 2–3 years of experience in building scalable backend systems, REST APIs, and microservices using modern frameworks, tools, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong server-side development skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Write efficient server-side logic using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP
• Implement authentication, authorization, caching, and business logic layers

Database & Storage

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Design optimized database schemas and write efficient queries

API Testing & Documentation

• Test APIs using Postman
• Create, maintain, and read API documentation using Swagger

DevOps & Cloud

• Containerize applications using Docker
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes orchestration
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

AI-Assisted Development

• Use AI-based coding tools to improve development efficiency by:
• Debugging faster
• Auto-generating boilerplate code and test cases
• Improving code quality and static analysis
• Accelerating documentation
• Reducing development cycle time

Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Use tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for task management'

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Core Backend Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in at least one backend technology:
• Node.js (Express or Nest.js)
• Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
• Java (Spring Boot)
• PHP (Laravel)

Backend Tools & Frameworks

• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Sequelize, TypeORM, Hibernate, Django ORM, or Eloquent
• Experience with Swagger for API documentation
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools

DevOps & Version Control

• Experience with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda or Azure Functions)
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, PyTest, or JUnit

Soft Skills

• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Ownership mindset with accountability for deliverables
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
