Company Description

Appice is a machine learning based mobile marketing automation platform located in Mumbai. We help businesses build trustworthy relationships with their customers by providing an integrated solution that supports every aspect of mobile acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization. Our platform includes in-app messages, push notifications, email, web, mobile A/B testing, and mobile analytics to help businesses collect data, create content, and measure performance.

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
Work with databases including MongoDB and PostgreSQL to manage large sets of structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in
Node.js
and
JavaScript
.
Experience with
MongoDB
and
PostgreSQL
.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.
Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Familiarity with version control tools like
Git
.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to the
banking or financial services domain
.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience working in Agile environments.
