A Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side infrastructure and logic that supports the front-end of an application. This means creating the APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and services that the mobile app uses to fetch, store, and manipulate data.Key Responsibilities
* API Development: Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs that allow the React Native app to communicate with the server. * Database Management: Create, manage, and optimize databases (e.g., SQL/NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). This includes designing database schemas, writing efficient queries, and ensuring data integrity and security. * Server-Side Logic: Implement the core business logic of the application on the server. This includes handling user authentication, authorization, and session management. * Performance Optimization: Optimize the backend for maximum speed and scalability. This involves identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks and implementing caching, load balancing, and other optimization techniques. * Integration with Third-Party Services: Integrate the application with third-party services like payment gateways, push notification services, and cloud storage. * Security: Implement robust security measures to protect the application from common threats like SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS), and ensure sensitive data is encrypted. * Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver a seamless user experience. * Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain existing backend services, troubleshoot issues, and perform debugging to ensure the application runs smoothly.Required Skills & Qualifications * Programming Languages: Proficiency in a backend language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP. Knowledge of JavaScript and the React ecosystem is often a plus. * Frameworks: Experience with relevant backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Django, Spring Boot). * Databases: Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL). * API Design: Experience in designing and developing APIs, especially RESTful APIs. * Version Control: Expertise in using Git and other version control systems. * Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. * Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Don't Apply to this job if you1.
