Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for Back-End Interns. The Back-End Intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web application logic, writing clean and scalable code, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The role also includes optimizing applications for performance, implementing security and data protection solutions, and ensuring cross-platform applications' responsiveness.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Experience in general Software Development and Programming skills

Familiarity with Front-End Development and frameworks

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and remotely

Experience in the hospitality industry or with hospitality technology is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications using Node.js.

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements:

Proven skills as a Node.js Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, including ES6+ features.

Experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js, Encore.ts, or NestJS.

Understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and performance optimization.

Experience with RESTful API design and development.

Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).

Understanding of security best practices in web applications.

Compensation Range

₹5,000 - ₹7,000 per month (Based on skills)
