Job Description – Backend Developer (Experienced)

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our Platform vertical and contribute to extending and scaling

collaborating with

internal teams to deliver stable and scalable releases.

Experience - 4 to 5 years

Working Days: Monday to Friday | ⏰ Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Type: Full-time | 💻 BYOD (Bring Your Own Device – carry your own laptop)

Location: Gurugram (Work From Office)

Tech Stack

- Primary Language: Java

- Framework: Spring Boot

- Databases: MySQL (primary), PostgreSQL (nice to have)

- Other Languages: Python, Node.js (pluses)

- Queueing System: AWS SQS (primary), others (plus)

- Version Control: Git

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs for various applications and services.

- Optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies.

- Integrate and manage asynchronous workflows using AWS SQS.

- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle – from requirement gathering to deployment and monitoring.

- Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product) to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

- Proficiency in SQL optimization and performance tuning.

- Experience with RESTful API development and distributed systems.

- Hands-on knowledge of AWS SQS or similar queueing systems.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable system design.

- Demonstrated ability to own and drive features or modules end-to-end.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
