Azure Solution Architect

The Opportunity

The Infrastructure Delivery lead – Compute will ensure delivery of IT Infrastructure Services across compute– Datacenter, Distributed, Cloud and other initiatives around compute services enablement. This includes analyzing requirements from the business and/or deployment organizations, initiating requests with PepsiCo’s managed service suppliers and partners, reviewing and approving design, solutions and partnering with PepsiCo’s strategic partners and suppliers to deliver solutions in line with PepsiCo Infrastructure engineering and architecture standards. This role involved demand shaping, coordinating with project management team, implementation team, market teams to successfully implement new solutions and support until handed over to sustain support.

Your Impact

Your scope would consist of:

Design, develop, and implement Azure-based cloud solutions tailored to business requirements.

• Participate in architectural discussions and design solutions for complex cloud applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

• Oversee the migration of legacy systems to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration.

• Create architecture blueprints and documentation for stakeholders and development teams.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and performance.

• Ensure governance by implementing best practices and compliance policies, especially in industries with stringent regulatory requirements.

• Provide expert-level guidance on the adoption of Azure services such as IaaS, PaaS, serverless computing, containers, and microservices architecture.

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to identify business challenges and develop appropriate cloud solutions.

• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Azure resources.

• Continuously evaluate new Azure services and stay updated with platform enhancements.

• Participate in R&D for exploring emerging cloud technologies to enhance architectural practices.

Platform Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure. The role involves a blend of technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, architectural design, and leadership to guide teams and stakeholders through Azure deployments.

¿Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• 7 + years of experience in the data and analytics platform

• 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions with at least 3 years on the Azure platform
