About the Role

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive technical solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategy. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring optimal architecture designs that are scalable, secure, and adaptable to changing needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities who can navigate complex technical landscapes while maintaining focus on business outcomes. They should be equally comfortable discussing high-level strategy with executives and technical details with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise architecture solutions that address complex business challenges
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architecture blueprints
• Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with clients and stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms
• Create architecture documentation including diagrams, models, and roadmaps
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance to implementation teams
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the solution lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, or related technical roles
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and IT service management
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Understanding of networking concepts and security principles
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing)
• Experience with API design and management
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
• Proficiency with architecture modeling tools and techniques
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and tools
• Architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
• Experience in multiple industries or business domains
• Background in consulting or professional services
• Proficiency in enterprise application integration and middleware technologies
• Experience with data architecture and business intelligence solutions
