Azure Cloud Architect - Infrastructure/Platform Engineering

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with a strong background in infrastructure and platform engineering to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our AI-powered solutions. This role is critical for establishing robust, scalable, and secure cloud platforms that support advanced machine learning operations and enterprise AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, AI technologies, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in Design and architect enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure that supports AI and machine learning workloads at scale, leveraging services such as AKS, networking, identity, and security
• Lead the implementation and deployment of AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI integrations, with emphasis on MLOps best practices and automation
• Establish and maintain machine learning operations pipelines, including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management on Azure AI services
• Architect and implement data integration solutions leveraging Databricks for data engineering, governance, performance optimization, and analytics
• Design and enforce comprehensive AI security frameworks, DevSecOps practices, and identity management policies across cloud infrastructure
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Bicep for Azure cloud provisioning and management
• Establish and implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration strategies, and GitOps practices for infrastructure automation
• Implement compliance-as-code frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and compliance
• Translate business requirements and objectives into comprehensive technical roadmaps and architecture strategies
• Manage stakeholder engagement, communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and drive alignment on architectural decisions
• Conduct security assessments and implement identity and access management controls for AI workloads
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to platform engineering teams
• Optimize cloud costs, performance, and operational efficiency
